NSPI Building Tour
NSHBDA has organized an interactive tour of the new NSPI headquarters on Lower Water Street in Halifax. The tour is scheduled for 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 29th. The tour is free, and all are welcome to join in. Please reply and let us know if you are interested in attending this tour – we need to confirm our numbers by the end of the day on Friday, February 17.
NSPI’s Lower Water Street project was honoured with the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Engineering, and was built to meet the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum standard. The building features a unique heating system – the building is heated and cooled by central heat pumps using harbour seawater.
The tour of this innovative building will be presented by representatives from NSPI, Fowler Bauld & Mitchell Architects and M&R Engineering. More information on the tour will be available at the next NSHBDA monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 21.
See you then.
