NSHBDA October Monthly Meeting This Tuesday
Our regular monthly meeting will be taking place this Tuesday, October 16th. The evening’s session entitled “Introduction to Site Assessment” is presented by John Hattie of Atlantic Home Designs Limited and Don Roscoe, Solar Designer. They will be introducing attendees to survey equipment and techniques, which attendees will use in the upcoming “Site Assessment Workshop Weekend”, scheduled for Saturday, October 27th and Sunday October 28th, in Bridgewater, NS. If you plan to attend the workshop weekend, you must attend Tuesday’s evening session.
Participants in the workshop weekend must sign up before the end of next week (Friday, October 19th). Course fee is $20 for students, designer and corporate members, $50 for non-members. Fees need to be paid in advance, via our website payment system – details to follow.
Transportation to/from Bridgewater will be coordinated once we know how many attendees will be heading out of the Halifax metro area.
As usual, our monthly information session will take place in Room 5424 at NSCC Waterfront or via video link to NSCC Lunenburg. The session will start at 6:15pm.
Prior to the monthly meeting, the Education Committee will meet at 2:00pm in Room 3522, with the Executive meeting following at 3:00pm.
All are welcome to join us for supper at Pilot’s Pub at 5:00pm (10 Atlantic Street, Dartmouth, NS).
