NSCC asking for placements of students for work terms

Subject: Architectural Drafting /CAD Technicians/Architectural Engineering technician Students available for work terms – NSCC

The NOVA SCOTIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE, WATERFRONT CAMPUS

Architectural Drafting & Architectural Engineering Technician programs will have students (45 students total)

who will be looking to fulfill the requirement of a mandatory work term.

The work term starts on April 28th and completes on May 30, 2014 (5 weeks total).

Work terms are paid at the discretion of the employer – payment is not mandatory.

We are looking for industry partners who would like to take a student to help them complete their requirements for the program which will enable them to graduate in June, 2014.

If you are interested in hiring a student for the 5 week period and possibly beyond that time (they are available for full time employment after these 5 weeks).

There are many similarities in the two programs but there are several differences:  I have summarized the main skill sets for each program.
