Next meeting Jan. 15, 2013

Our regular monthly meeting will be taking place this Tuesday, January 15th. The evening’s session entitled “Introduction to Structural Steel Framing” is presented by Tim Houtsma, P.Eng. V.P. Projects/Engineering at Marid Industries Ltd.

Tim will introduce attendees to structural steel framework types, floor, wall and roof assemblies, finishes, connections and the various options and uses for structural steel. There will be plenty of photos and an open discussion to accompany the presentation, so make sure you have all your questions lined up for Tim. As usual, our monthly information session will take place in Room 5424 at NSCC Waterfront or via video link to NSCC Lunenburg. The session will start at 6:15pm. Prior to the monthly meeting, the Education Committee will meet at 2:00pm in Room 3522, with the Executive meeting following at 3:00pm.

All are welcome to join us for supper at Pilot’s Pub at 5:00pm (10 Atlantic Street, Dartmouth, NS).
