Monthly Meeting Tomorrow (Nov 20th)!
The next monthly meeting of the NSHBDA will be on Tuesday, November 20. The evening’s session will be an introduction to Passive House standards, presented by Natalie Leonard, P.Eng. of Passive House E Design (www.passivedesign.ca). Natalie will introduce us to what passive house is, discuss the design principles, show us some passive house projects and discuss construction details and costs. She will also give us an insight into how these homes perform, by showing us monitoring data from the Hawkins House project.
As usual, our meeting will take place in Room 5424 at NSCC Waterfront or via video link to NSCC Lunenburg. The session will start at 6:15pm.
Prior to the monthly meeting, the Board of Directors will meet in Room 3522 at 3:00pm, with the Education Committee meeting at 2:00pm in the same room.
All are welcome to join us for supper at Pilot’s Pub at 5:00pm (10 Atlantic Street, Dartmouth, NS).
