May Training – Tour of Canada Games Centre

The training session for May will be a tour of the new Canada Games Centre (6 Thomas Raddall Drive is just across the road from the Keshen Goodman Library in Clayton Park, just off Lacewood Drive).

At 176,000 sq.ft., the Canada Games Centre is the largest facility of its kind in Atlantic Canada. The $40 million project was the host facility for HRM’s 2011 Canada Winter Games, and includes an eight-lane competition pool, a leisure pool with waterslide and deck toys, a 52,000 sq.f.t multi-sport field house, an 11,500 sq.ft. health, fitness & wellness centre, 200 m six-lane running track, community rooms, meeting rooms and office space.

Please meet us at the main entrance at 6:15pm. The tour will be hosted by CGC Staff and a representative of the project architects, DSRA Envision Architecture.
