Fall ‘IDEAL’ Home Show – Designers Needed

The “Ideal Fall Home Show” Friday September 30 to Sunday October 02, 2016, presented by Master Promotions Ltd. at Exhibition Park, Halifax, NS .

This year NSHBDA has a 800 square foot, (20’x40’) booth # 760.  The Association’s booth will house both the “Design Competition Gallery” and the “NSHBDA Home Show Exhibit”.

NSHBDA would like to ask Current Association Members (designers, students and corporate members) to help with booth sitting and to help with the “People’s Choice Award”. The award is determined by the General Public (on a Ballot) as they visit the Design Competition Gallery and they have a chance to win a prize for taking an interest and choosing their favourite design.

This is also a great opportunity for members to network with potential clients that are looking to have homes or projects designed and a chance to mingle with fellow exhibitors to find out about their services or new building products/systems that are available.

NSHBDA Executive Board has decided to allow Designers to show two (2) of their projects while they are booth sitting and helping to bring awareness about the Association to the public. Project Drawings cannot be larger than  11” x 17” format. Designers should have full rights to the design or permission in writing from their customers to be able to use their drawings for promotional purposes.

Anyone who would like to help out booth sitting, please send the following information;

  • Your name, Contact information, (please make sure you provide a cell phone number so we can get a hold of you in case of a last minute schedule change).
  • Your preferred time slot(s) (see Sitter’s Schedule below).
  • Your shirt size (if you did not receive one for the last show and we have woman Golf Shirts)

It should be noted that we need to have at least one designer in each time slot when student members are present. Guidelines for those sitting will be in the booth.  Please contact if you have any questions.
